我支持南港島線建於地下隧道
I support the MTR South Island Line to be built underground


作為一名香港市民，我反對南港島線以高架路軌建造 （二零零九年六月二十四日，憲報公告 4569）。
As a local resident, I object to building the elevated rail (Gazette Notice 4569 dated 24 July 2009).

  我強烈支持盡早建造該鐵路於地底。我們渴望壽臣山、黃竹坑、香港仔以及鴨脷洲一帶能持續發展、活力重現，同時保持南區美景的綠意盎然。
I strongly support the South Island Line to be built underground as soon as possible. We want to revitalize and beautify Shouson Hill, Wong Chuk Hang, Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau, and maintain the green ambiance of the southern district.
 
  沿香葉道，為行人建造一條綠色長廊，加以美化，使該區成為旅遊、酒店和商貿區，令政府從而增加稅收，黃竹坑明渠亦可保持迷人的景色。
I support creating a green pedestrian precinct by revitalizing Wong Chuk Hang Nullah along Heung Yip Road. By developing the area into a tourism, hotel and commercial district the government can increase revenue from land premiums and the nullah can become a beautiful scenery forever.
 
  在跑馬地建多一個地鐵站出口。因為這是唯一一次減輕跑馬地、銅鑼灣以及灣仔地區交通負荷的機會。
I support a station in Happy Valley as this is the once-only opportunity to add a rail station and reduce the traffic congestion in Happy Valley, Causeway Bay and Wanchai area.

我理解這樣，將會增加三年的建造時間，成本也會因此上升。但我覺得能保留天然的美境給我們的子孫享受，這是非常值得的。
I understand that it will take three years longer and cost more money to build the South Island Line underground. It is worth doing so because it allows us to create a beautiful environment for all future generations.
