How does Hong Kong compare? This week, two global ranking systems publish their 2010 findings. EAC reports its ‘Cost of Living' index and the summer issue of Monocle Magazine reports its ‘Global Quality of Life' Survey. Mercer and the Economist published their livability indexes earlier this year. Here is a summary relevant to Hong Kong: ![]() Hong Kong's dilemma is evident: It ranks as an expensive city but does not cut it as a livable city.
