"This is Our Land” Dialogue Series️ 「我城我地」對談系列 The Big Debate: Land Demand in Hong Kong 香港土地需求大辯論 The Task Force on Land Supply will start consultation soon. But before we are asked to choose between giving up sea, country parks, golf courses or military sites, let’s consider the demand for land. During this fourth dialogue we will debate the land demand projections in Hong Kong with two guest speakers: Tom YAM (Independent management consultant) and Chun-kong LAU (Past President and Chairman of the Land Policy Panel of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, Member of Task Force on Land Supply). We will also look at the long-term need for the East Lantau Metropolis, and upcoming consultation by the Task Force on Land Supply on the different options. Join us for the debate – live or on-line Date: 3 March 2018 (Saturday) "This is Our Land" Dialogue Series is organized by the "Citizens Task Force on Land Resources" to promote public discussion over land resources in Hong Kong.
