"This is Our Land” Dialogue Series️ 「我城我地」對談系列 “This is Our Land” Dialogue Series: Caution: PPP (Public-Private Partnership) 「我城我地」對談系列：【公私合營是...?】 To speed up development of private land in the New Territories, the government has proposed Public-Private Partnership Schemes (PPP). As one of the 18 land supply options proposed by government it has stirred up a heated debate. What are the pros and cons of PPP? Is it a supply option or an implementation mechanism? Did we learn from the mistakes with previous PPP projects such as the Tin Shui Wai New Town? Does it make sense to allow development based on land ownership instead of urban planning? What will be the impacts of developments outside New Development Areas and further away from rail stations? Join the forum to find out more about PPP schemes!
