Coastal Trail

Through rediscovering and reinstating lost trails we can enhance the network of urban and countryside trails throughout Hong Kong. This will increase alternative hiking routes available to all people, including the elderly, children and the disabled. Doing so will not only improve their enjoyment of the city but also improve public health. Check www.coastaltrail.hk for more.

Job description and responsibilities:

  • Reach out to community stakeholders to collect feedbacks and comments
  • Promote the beauty of trail to the general public
  • Explore the community stories and history along the trail
  • Provide contents updates for websites and social media
  • Survey the new potential coastal trails

Preferences / requirements:

  • 2 days per week during the internship period
  • English and Chinese writing skills
  • Keen interest in urban planning / nature conservation / local history
  • Active and ready to participate
  • Independent
  • Able to work outdoors and hike

Eat Without Waste

Eat Without Waste is an initiative to keep packaging associated with takeout consumption out of Hong Kong’s landfills. It is a one-year effort based on behavioural science and recommendations based on previous research, executed by ADM Capital Foundation and its partners Designing Hong Kong and Architecture Commons.

Job description and responsibilities:

  • Collect feedback and comments from community stakeholders
  • Conduct research and surveys
  • Support meetings, workshops, and events
  • Update website and social media content

  • 2 days per week during the internship period

  • Keen interest in environmental issues / community engagement
  • Active and ready to participate
  • Independent
  • Able to work outdoors
